Bespoke Bathroom Project in Cheshire
This Beautifully Bespoke bathroom project was recently completed for our clients in Cheshire using the very contemporary Egg Shell Durastone Marni freestanding bath from Lusso Stone.
TFor their new bathroom, our client wanted to create a very contemporary bathroom of minimalist design.
As you can see from the above photo, there is no visible pipework. With all services neatly recessed behind the exquisite marble porcelain tiles, the room fulfils our clients desire for a clean and minimalist room.
Below: The image below shows the walk-in shower with Merlyn black-framed wet room panel and Crosswater MPRO shower, finished in Matt Black. The Crosswater shower has both a fixed overhead rain shower and a practical handset.
To maintain the sleek profile of the shower yet offer our client some practicality, a recessed toiletries shelf was built into the wall and finished with Matt black tile trims. To the rear of the image is a Villeroy and Boch toilet.
Above: In the above image, the extra-large (1200mm by 600mm) marble porcelain tiles are more visible, as is one of the two floating towel warming radiators, also finished in matt black.
From this angle, you can better appreciate the cleaner and minimalist profile of the room, which was achieved by putting all of the pipework recessed into the wall and behind the tiles.
In addition to achieving the desired look, the added benefit of a wet room like this is the ease with which it can be cleaned. With no hard to reach areas, there are no hard to clean areas, so the bathroom remains pristine.
Above: Here, we can appreciate the profile of the bathroom from another perspective with the custom made freestanding vanity in full view. The vanity is 2000mm wide finished in matt indigo blue, and has two Hudson Reed Countertop Vessel basins.
With ample storage, twin sinks, and twin HiB L.E.D mirrors, the vanity offers more than good looks and has a great deal of practical functionality available.
The HiB mirrors are a great accessory. They have a ‘no-touch’ infrared sensor that allows you to switch the lights on/off with a single hand movement, and aside from the soft backlight glow with changeable colours, there is a heated de-mister pad to prevent condensation and to keep a clear view.
