Bespoke Ensuite Project in Knutsford Cheshire
This Beautifully Bespoke ensuite bathroom project was recently completed for our clients in Knutsford, Cheshire.

The client wanted to create a modern and contemporary ensuite that could be used as a wet-room so we used the full width of the ensuite room and tiled the walls and floors in large format grey tiles with contrasting matt black fittings and finishings.

Above: The above image shows the walk in shower in more detail and the custom drainage, essential for creating not just a good looking wet-room, but one that works, and good drainage is vital to achieve this.
A nice feature of this wet-room ensuite is the shower. We opted for the Crosswater concealed shower mixer with 300mm rain head and matching hand held set in matt black placed on the opposite wall and a Merlyn black, framed wet room panel with 10mm glass and an easy
clean coating.
It is small attentions to detail in placing the shower mixer on the opposite wall to the rain shower that many other bathroom designers miss. However, if you stand under a rain shower as the cold water that has been sitting in your pipes comes out before the warm, on a cold winters morning, you’ll agree that being able to operate the mixer without standing under it, makes total sense.
Below: This image shows the full profile of the ensuite, including vanity unit and sink plus the 1600mm x 500mm matt black towel rail with matt black controls.
The vanity is a Roper Rhodes Scheme 500mm wall hung vanity unit in matt
carbon with matt black handles (320mm) and ceramic basin and Abacus mixer tap in matt black. The Roper Rhodes Scheme vanity has internal divider drawers and additional lidded beech boxes can also be fitted to keep all your bathroom essentials in place.
