What Is A True Handleless Kitchen?
A true handleless kitchen will always contain a handleless kitchen channel system. Requiring a specialist manufacturing process, each cabinet carcass in the run of units has a sophisticated rebate machined into it, and into this, a stainless-steel C-shaped channel is inserted. Via this mechanism, the door is opened by placing your hand behind the top edge of the door or drawer and pulling it forwards and outwards.
However, increased demand for handleless kitchen designs has brought new variations of this style, making them more affordable. For example, a J-Groove or J-Pull has an integrated J-shaped recess at the top edge of the door for the fingers to curve around and pull the door outwards. But this style is not a ‘true handleless’ kitchen! It is important to recognise the difference and note that manufacture processes and resulting products vary greatly in quality.

Our luxury kitchen, bedroom and bathroom showroom is set within a spacious converted barn in Little Budworth, just minutes from Oulton Park Race Circuit and The Hollies Farm Shop, with easy access and free parking right outside. Inside, the space is calm, welcoming, and fully accessible, with wide entrances and a single-level layout that’s family-friendly and easy to explore. During your visit we’ll encourage you to open cupboards, inspect finishes, and experience the quality of our kitchens, bathrooms, and bedrooms up close. No appointment is needed—feel free to call in for a chat any time during our opening hours, or else please book ahead for a more detailed design consultation: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, and Saturday by appointment.
